DCD/CEC Emergency phone

The Analogue switch off is coming. Is your forecourt ready?

From January 2027 the UK’s analogue phone network is being switched off. Every forecourt with DCD or CEC must have a phone that can be used in the case of an emergency. Digital to analogue converters won’t be compliant in the event of a power cut.

Our solution replaces the analogue dependency with a robust, always-on connection built for DCD/CEC requirements.

What you get:

24/7 DCD/CEC connectivity, fully compliant with current regulations and works with all your existing infrastructure.

Power dependency-VOIP typically relies on your router and mains power. A power cut takes your phone line down and your DCD/CEC with it.

Contention and drop outs-Voice grade VOIP shares bandwidth with everything else on site. Under load, calls and data degrade or drop-unacceptable for a system that has to stay online 24/7.

No built-in resilience- Most VOIP setups have no failover. One outage and you’re non-compliant until it is fixed.

A future proof replacement for analogue lines-no scrambling before 2027.

Simple installation with minimal disruption to your forecourt.

Peace of mind that compliance is sorted, permanently.

Cheaper line rental than your previous analogue line rental.
